My Story

Hello!

As someone who likes to walk the golf course and the dogs, all on relativelty flat ground in my local haunts, this trek is going to challenge me to the max. No buggy!

Below is a little story on why this challenge is important to me, so hopefully you feel inspired to give generously to support the kids and community that COCO works with.

My Why...

As a kid I grew up in a wealthy family and comfortable western lifestyle, it was very safe, I had access to a great education, and always had a choice. As an adult I am very grateful for this and for where I am today in my personal life and in business.

I am very aware that there are many children in the world don't live the way I did. I feel inspired to help close the divides and inequalities that exist by giving young people the chance to have a heathy and happy life.

By challenging myself with this trek it gives me a chance to do this, knowing I've made a difference to at least one child. The butterfly effect of this can reach far and wide. So please support in any way you can.

This is how your donation helps kids and communities in East Africa:

£8 - A Spade and Hoe

A £8 donation could purchase a spade and a hoe, to be used by a recipient of our Sustainable Agriculture Training programme.

£20 - A Mature Piglet

A £20 donation could purchase a mature piglet to be raised by one of COCO's schools for life.

£80 - Sustainable Agriculture Training

A £80 donation could pay for 1 woman to attend 7 days Sustainable Agriculture Training, to teach her new skills to better support her family.
